A general all-year-round fertiliser that helps reduce the appearance of moss!
Ivisons Spring/Autumn Fertiliser is a high iron fertiliser, making it ideal for areas suffering from moss. Although it is not classed as a moss killer, Ivisons Spring/Autumn Fertiliser can help significantly reduce moss due to the iron content. This feed contains a balanced level of nutrients that are ideal for autumn/spring, this is also the best time to treat moss.
Ivisons Spring/Autumn Fertiliser is a mini granular fertiliser which means it is ideal for use on golf green, lawns, sports turf, paddocks and amenity areas. Its slow-release formulation will gradually release over an 8-10 week period. On its own, it's unlikely to deliver enough nutrients for the grass to continue to grow into summer, so do consider topping up with a nitrogen-rich fertiliser, such as Ivisons 11-5-5 Summer Fertiliser.
Why Choose Ivisons Spring/Autumn Fertiliser?

More About The Mixture:
This is a potassium rich-fertiliser, meaning it will help facilitate plant development, improve immunity and disease resistance, as well as improve resistance to stress that may be caused by extreme weather conditions such as drought.
This fertiliser is made up of homogenous granules. This means that each granule has the same nutrient analysis to ensure an even spread of nutrients across the sown area. With Cheaper blended fertilisers, the analysis is represented in the bag rather than each granular, which leads to an uneven spread of nutrients. Using a Blended fertiliser can lead to a patchy lawn, parts of your lawn may grow quicker than others and the colour of the grass may differ throughout.
When To Use Spring/Autumn Fertiliser:
Without carrying out a full soil analysis, it is very difficult to know exactly which nutrients your lawn requires. Ivisons Spring/Autumn Fertiliser contains appropriate quantities of nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium that will nourish low nutrient soil and remove unwanted moss.
A newly sown lawn shouldn’t need Ivisons Spring/Autumn Fertiliser for a very long time as moss shouldn't be present for a considerable length of time. If you're applying this to an established lawn it can be applied anytime during spring or autumn as long as the ground is free from frost.
How To Apply
- Apply our fertiliser at the recommended rate by hand (remember to wear a glove!) or by using a spreader.
- Water the fertiliser in until it dissolves, the ground must be free from frost, so they don’t freeze.
- Keep children and pets off the lawn until the granules have dissolved. The granules should dissolve within 24 hours.
- Remove or clean the footwear you were wearing during application to avoid damaging surrounding areas such as patios.
