Ivisons Pipolina Micro Clover Seed
Pipolina is a small-leafed variety that if left uncut, will generally not exceed 8”.
It has been used in place of grass or mixed with grass seed in lawns football pitches & golf greens as it requires much less mowing than traditional grass. It can be sprinkled over already existing laws.
in addition, this variety seldom flowers and stays green all year round. Once germinated, it does not require much water.
It is also ideal for surface for garden paths or as a border around shrubs.
Spreads slowly but dense growing.
Sow in early spring or late Autumn. Winter hardy
Like all clovers, its nitrogen fixating to naturally fertilize the soil.
Micro Clover can stay green even in drought and is highly resistant to pet urine.
Must not exceed 2g per square meter when over seeding or 5% if added to a grass mix
For a micro-clover only lawn, sow at 50 g per 9 sq. m. (100 sq. ft.) Water regularly until established. Sow in spring and late summer.
